At Tri Homes Today, our team is dedicated to ensuring that your expectations are exceeded whether you are a buyer, seller or investor. Founded by Mark and Kim Kappelman in 2013, the team has completed projects in some of Chicago’s best neighborhoods including Avondale, Logan Square and Roscoe Village including one being featured on HGTV’s popular series House Hunters . The team also regularly speaks and advises at real estate conferences on the principles of successful real estate investing. 

Mark Kappelman, CFA, CPA | Co-founder, Business Development
Mark is responsible for acquisitions, financing, and business development. Mark brings over 10 years of accounting and finance experience to Tri Homes Today, holding a senior finance position with a venture-backed technology company in Chicago and previously, PwC and Ernst & Young. Additionally, Mark’s undergraduate and graduate degrees are from Arizona State University.

Kimberly Kappelman, CPA | Co-founder, Lead designer & Licensed Realtor
Kim, a licensed realtor and team lead of RLKK Residential in Chicago, is responsible for design, project accounting and sales. Previously, Kim worked at Jump Trading, Retail Properties of America, and Deloitte. Kim’s undergraduate and graduate degrees are from Arizona State University.

Steven Eshkenazi, CPA | Acquisitions & Financing
Steve is responsible for acquisitions and financing. Steve leverages his background in accounting and finance to evaluate potential properties and manage the external financing. Previously, Steve worked at NXT Capital, a commercial finance company, and PwC. Steve’s undergraduate degree is from The University of Miami.
